Acquisition Strategy for  Transportation Management

Helped USTRANSCOM gain DoD approval for multibillion-dollar transformation.

 

Supported USTRANSCOM's Joint Transportation Management Systems (JTMS) to develop an acquisition strategy to obtain DoD approval for a large scale, multi-billion-dollar digital transformation including the business, technical and support strategies to effectively manage program risks and objectives.  Effort created the plan to modernize over 150 business systems and provides a roadmap to ensure system compliance with acquisition guidelines.

Cybersecurity Strategy for Implementation of a Commercial-Off-the-Shelf Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Solution

Maximized efficiency by allowing operations among certified and government networks, a common operating picture, data exchange across systems of records, optimizes knowledge management and information sharing.

RevTek developed a Cybersecurity Strategy consistent with DoD policies, standard, and architectures. The strategy details how the program will ensure that it can protect and defend itself from a cyber-attack. It describes the program’s Cyber Goals, identifies cybersecurity risks, highlights proactive monitoring strategies, contingency plans, incident handling, and review schedule for continuous improvement. The document will be further refined throughout the lifecycle of the program as the technical architecture matures and key components are procured.

ERP Communications Plan

Supported the planning and launching of USTRANSCOM’s cultural transition to a multi-million dollar ERP impacting over 30,000 external and internal users.

Developed a Communications Plan and a suite of communication materials for the JTMS and its facilitation of organizational change throughout the multi-year implementation and management of an ERP. The Communications Plan identified several stakeholders, categorized as tactical or strategic, communication mediums, and upcoming events that may serve as communication opportunities.

Financial Management System Transformation

Reduced manpower expenditures and mitigated risk for financial auditability by reengineering business processes, capturing and analyzing data flows, and evaluating financial management practices. 

Applying detailed business process engineering, RevTek performed operational process and data flow capture and analysis, identified key gaps in the customer’s standard DoD financial management practices and discovered compliance shortcomings. Analysis led to the identification of disconnects in system architecture and data collection that increased manpower expenditures and risk to financial auditability.

Digital Engineering Workforce Transformation

Helped AF Materiel Command to produce a robust workforce planning capability for determining appropriate staffing requirements.

As a part of a multi-vendor team, RevTek supported the Air Force Strategic Transformation Services with the development of a more robust workforce planning capability to determine appropriate staffing requirements for the acquisition workforce transitioning to modern and emerging digital engineering practices through data collection, analysis and recommendations.

CIO Controls

Provided guidance and recommendations to enhance support services and provided financial insights regarding IT spending for the AF CIO on $7B IT-modernization & optimization.

As a subcontractor, RevTek helped established better internal and operational controls for the DAF CIO Office’s IT service management and IT portfolio management by implementing best practices.

Program Assessment & Optimization 

Developed recommendations to optimize and improve commercial airline participation in the Civil Reserve Air Fleet program.

In supporting USTRANSCOM's Civil Reserve Air Fleet (CRAF), RevTek provided economic and analytical outputs to produce a comprehensive and adaptive, outcome-based cost performance schedule, risk modeling and analysis of alternatives (AoA) to enhance and optimize the CRAF program.  Provided recommendations for courses of action (COAs) to optimize the Civil Reserve Air Fleet.
